EcoDesign Circle is a three-year project supported by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region (BSR) Programme. Design organisations from Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden and Poland, among them four BEDA members, collaborate with universities and others and will be forerunner for Ecodesign in the BSR.
EcoDesign Circle aims to increase the awareness of eco-design in the region's small and medium-sized companies, design organisations and among designers and design lecturers. Companies will integrate design and create methods that take advantage of eco-design, increasing productivity, excellence and innovation in an effective way. The partner organisations will be the missing link between businesses, designers, research institutions and public organisations. The goal is to prove the potential of eco-design and to build a competence network based on circular economy, ecological design and sustainability in the Baltic Sea Region.
“A fantastic opportunity to learn more and broadly share experiences in our pursuit of a more sustainable future” Robin Edman, BEDA President and Chief Executive of SVID, Swedish Industrial Design Foundation
